Job Scope/Summary
HCTec is seeking skilled Epic Willow Ambulatory Analysts for a full lifecycle implementation with a West Coast partner. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with a healthcare organization's pharmacy workflows, regulatory requirements, and an understanding of how Willow Ambulatory integrates with other Epic applications.
Description
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is required.
• Current Willow Ambulatory Certification is required.
• Full implementation experience is highly preferred.
• Complete assigned tasks related to the design, configuration, and customization of the Epic Willow Ambulatory module to meet the organization's medication management needs and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with clinical and pharmacy personnel to gather necessary information, assess existing workflows, and convert them into efficient and impactful solutions within the Epic Willow Ambulatory module.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to clinical operations
• Develop test scripts to validate performance of all functions. Conduct effective unit, integration, system and end-user acceptance testing through execution of the tests, tracking of problem reports and documenting all final outcomes.
• Handle Release Cycles - review release notes, coordinate with the business, build, test, and deploy across environments.
• Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or system errors related to the Epic Willow Ambulatory module.
• Provide updates for weekly status reports and escalate of issues that impact the timeline and/or success of the implementation
Additional Needs
• Provide partner and support training through development of training materials as appropriate to the project.
• Effectively explains the functioning of the assigned application and related systems to the users.
• Develop and maintain product documentation including: current workflows, requirements, functional specifications, installation instructions, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Completes all appropriate change and quality control documentation using department standards.
• Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users, including any potential delays/downtime related to application. Manages multiple requests from multiple users and balances priorities.
• Stay up to date with Epic software releases, new features, and industry best practices related to the Willow Ambulatory module.
