POSITION: Wastewater Treatment Operator
DEPARTMENT: Technical Services
LOCATION: Fairfield, New Jersey; Key West, Florida; Lockport, New York
SALARY RANGE: $28 - $38 per hour

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES :
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Wastewater Treatment Operator to support our projects in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. This full time position requires an individual who is hardworking, reliable, responsible, motivated, and mechanically sound. Ability to travel is important. Must have a valid driver’s license.
The daily work will include:
- Complete daily operations related to mobilizing, operating, demobilizing wastewater treatment systems.
- Some heavy lifting and working in hot and cold environments
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations required
- Wastewater Treatment Operators license preferred
- Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred
- Piping (PVC, Steel, HDPE)
- Familiarization of wastewater treatment operations process control
- Possess strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- OSHA HAZWOPER certificate a plus
SALARY/BENEFITS: Hourly; Salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
