Position: VMWare L3/L4 Engineer

Job Description Seeking a highly skilled L3/L4 VMware Engineer with extensive experience in VMware virtualization technologies advanced troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of enterpriselevel infrastructure. This role involves implementing and maintaining VMware environments as well as providing expertlevel support to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
VMware Infrastructure Management:
o Deploy and manage VMware vSphere environments.
o Perform advanced configuration and optimization of VMware infrastructure.
o Implement and manage vCenter Server ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
Troubleshooting and Support:
o Provide L3/L4 support for VMwarerelated issues including performance tuning and capacity planning.
o Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to VMware infrastructure.
o Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams to escalate and resolve issues promptly.
Performance and Security:
o Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of VMware environments.
o Implement and maintain security best practices within VMware infrastructure.
o Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
Disaster Recovery and Backup:
o Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for VMware environments.
o Ensure regular backups and replication of virtual machines and data.
Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain detailed documentation of VMware infrastructure configurations and procedures.
o Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and support staff.
