Trainee Wind Turbine Technician

$26-$30 Per Hour + Medical + Dental + Visual + Overtime + 2 Weeks PTO + 401k + Full Training
Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with basic mechanical or electrical experience to join a massive global business that can provide full training on the servicing and maintenance of Wind Turbines.
This international manufacturing, industrial and energy business has thousands of employees across the globe. In the USA they manufacture, operate and maintain their own wind turbines in addition to looking after equipment owned by other manufacturers and power producers.
In this role you will be based at a single site near Amarillo where you will undertake training and then become responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of wind turbines and associated components manufactured and used by the company.
This is a great role for an eager and driven individual that is looking to develop a career in the field of engineering and where they can gain valuable experience working in the Wind Energy industry.
The Role:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing Wind Turbines
* Installing, replacing, maintaining and repairing individual components/parts
* Learning fundamental skills necessary to install and retrofit equipment used in Wind Farms
The Person:
* Prior mechanical and electrical experience
* An interest in becoming a Wind Turbine Technician, with an appetite for learning
*Full driving license and comfortable with daily travel to site
* Comfortable with working outdoors and working at height
* Veterans with basic engineering skills also encouraged to apply
