Surgical Coordinator at Waring Vision Institute

Job Summary:

Join our team at Waring Vision Institute as a Surgical Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role as a liaison between surgeons and patients. This position blends consultative sales with patient care, ensuring seamless coordination of treatment plans, expectations setting, financial review, and surgery scheduling.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• Deliver exceptional patient service with office etiquette.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a focus on achieving results.
• Collaborate with the Executive Committee to uphold superior patient care standards.
• Present treatment plans to patients with professionalism and thoroughness.
• Discuss and clarify all practice financing options with patients.
• Apply effective sales techniques to guide patients towards optimal treatment decisions.
• Utilize CRM software daily to manage client relationships and interactions.
• Review pre and post-operative instructions comprehensively with patients.
• Assist patients in scheduling their surgeries efficiently.
• Ensure timely responses to all internal and external communications within 24-48 hours as per urgency.
• Proficiently use all office software tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales position.
• Eligible for employment in the United States.
• Medical knowledge or background is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5 years in related field).
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively.
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven sales and closing abilities.
• Experience with client relationship management (CRM) programs is preferred.
