Job Description



Canyon GBS is seeking an experienced and innovative Sr. UX Researcher to lead user research initiatives that drive the development of our AI-powered solutions. In this high-impact role, you will uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design recommendations that directly shape intuitive, impactful products.

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the Founder, Product Management, and Development teams to ensure our solutions align with user expectations and business objectives. Your research will be instrumental in enhancing user satisfaction, improving engagement, and driving overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and conduct user research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Analyze and interpret research data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to integrate user-centered design principles into product development.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate research findings.
  • Advocate for the user by providing evidence-based recommendations during product discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX research.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of research methodologies and processes.
  • Present research findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $111,000

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Proficiency in a range of research methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with UX research tools and software.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered technologies and their impact on user experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed to represent Canyon GBS in the public eye globally with customers, partners, investors, and the community.
