Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Dayton/Cincinnati OH
Rate: $36.00 per hour
Shift: Days 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (Monday Friday)
Role Overview:
Provide services primarily in nursing homes home care facilities and prisons throughout the region. This role involves travel to various sites to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize portable sonographic equipment to perform exams as ordered by physicians ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
- Digitally transmit ultrasound results to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Manage selfdispatching duties maintaining efficient communication with the dispatch department and responding promptly to assignments.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions and billing documents daily.
- Adhere to strict professional and ethical standards including wearing a company uniform and name tag and maintaining a drugfree status.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of companyprovided vehicles and sonographic equipment.
- Train other technologists as required and participate in mandatory physical examinations and infection control training.
