• Job Title: Sr. PCB Design Engineer
• Job Type: Onsite

• Location: Rockville, MD
• Salary Range: 120,000-150,000 with potential negotiation based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Key Responsibilities

• Perform layer stack-up planning, component selection and placement, and routing of digital, analog, RF, and power-conversion PCBs
• Develop and maintain schematic and PCB layouts using Mentor Graphics tools
• Create and manage PCB libraries; maintain documentation for fabrication and production release
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to optimize design for manufacturing and testing
• Support BOM generation and updates; work closely with engineers to finalize product designs
• Evaluate and implement design tool improvements; train team members on tool usage
• Participate in prototype development and transition designs into production
• Provide hands-on support in a collaborative engineering environment

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ PCB layout and design experience
• Proficient in Mentor Graphics DxDesigner (schematic capture) and Xpedition (layout)
• Experience with PLM systems and configuration control
• Strong understanding of RF, mixed-signal, and high-frequency layout best practices
• Knowledge of EMI considerations, DRC rules, and DFM for low-cost PCB fabrication

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in MS Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
