Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for accuracy of job cost reporting and forecasting
• Prepare monthly forecast files
• Participate in the monthly forecast meetings with Construction and Development teams
• Review and approve forecast changes in Yardi
• Prepare monthly project reporting for executive team (project status reports)
• Prepare financials for all projects which includes:
• Record journal entries as needed
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly preferred return schedules
• Prepare loan draw package and process timely to meet all payment deadlines
• Prepare monthly capital calls for project funding
• Analyze and monitor funding needs and liquidity at the project level
• Review and approve invoices, contracts, and change orders in Yardi
• Review bank positive pay exceptions daily
• Prepare annual tax return paperwork; assist tax accounts in preparation of tax returns
• Prepare required reporting to lenders and partners
• Work with Development and Construction teams on ad hoc projects
• Perform other accounting duties as requested such as financial or administrative tasks

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, and/or Finance or related fields
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Excellent attention to detail in a deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrates integrity, maturity, dependability, tact, positive attitude, and enthusiasm in the performance of duties
• Industry knowledge helpful in partnership accounting, construction accounting, and real estate accounting

• Yardi
• MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
