Job Description

Seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. This key role involves assisting in the planning and design of civil engineering projects for both federal and private land development initiatives. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated team of civil engineers, contributing to a wide range of exciting projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze reports, maps, engineering plans, test results, and aerial imagery to evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrology, topography, and geological factors to inform project planning and design.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to prepare design and planning documents for land development, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering tools.
• Conduct zoning and feasibility assessments to evaluate the viability of development projects.
• Provide field inspection services when required to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Draft and review reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management plans, technical specifications, and utility reports.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and subcontractors, working closely with your supervisor to ensure project success.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and meet project goals.
