*Please note - this position is seasonal, spending a 4-6 month contract in Alaska for the summer cruise ship season. Please only apply if your situation is flexible enough for this position.

Diamonds International is on the hunt for Seasonal Sales Associates to join our retail teams in the cruise ports of Alaska this summer! As one of the world's largest travel retailers with a focus on the cruise markets, DI houses a variety of luxury brands in their stores on board cruise ships worldwide and in the ports of call.

Responsibilities:

• Luxury Jewelry & Watch Sales — acting as the first point of contact for guests visiting our stores in the ports of call, you will promote and sell a variety of high-end luxury diamonds, gemstones, and watches and educate cruise ship guests on what to buy.
• Personal Shopping — helping your guests commemorate their life’s most important moments and shopping for their dream pieces!
• Visual Merchandising — creatively curating and arranging jewelry displays and ensuring they maintain corporate standards throughout the season.
• Marketing — assisting store management with in-store events, hosting different brands for trunk shows, and ensuring all store marketing materials maintain corporate display standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience required (bonus points if you have done luxury and/or jewelry sales!)
• Former travel/duty free retail experience desired, but not required
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
• Soft skills: confidence, credibility, approachability
