Our client's partner hospital in Midland, MI is growing its Cardiovascular OR team and is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)with CVOR experience to support complex cardiac cases in a high-acuity surgical setting. What You’ll Do
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to open-heart surgical patients
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain sterile field and uphold strict patient safety protocols
- Assist with anesthesia support and surgical equipment preparation
- Coordinate surgical team activity and ensure timely workflow in the OR
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document procedures and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need
- Active RN license (Michigan or compact state – required)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (perioperative or CVOR experience a plus)
- 2+ years in critical care or emergency preferred
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
