We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dental Assistant at Castle Family Dentistry, LLC! Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to fill a Full-Time position within our warm and welcoming dental practice. This is not a remote position, as we value the face-to-face interactions and hands-on assistance only available in our office located in the heart of our community. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort.
• Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists.
• Update and maintain client’s dental records to comply with office and regulatory policies.
• Provide postoperative instructions prescribed and directed by the dentist.
• Assist in the taking of X-rays and dental impressions for diagnostic purposes, following proper protocols.
• Educate patients on oral health care and preventive procedures.
• Schedule appointments, manage follow-up visits, and handle patient communication as necessary.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are rigorously followed to provide a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest dental practices and office policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Current Dental Assistant Certification as required by the state.
• Proficiency with dental management software and strong computer skills.
• Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
• X-ray certification is required .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and diligent in following up on patient needs and office tasks.
• A commitment to continued education and training in dental assisting.
• Flexibility with work hours, willing to work evenings.
