Suited Hospitality, a dynamic and growing agency, seeks an experienced Public Relations Account Manager with a passion for food & beverage-related businesses. Whether it’s a winery, restaurant, or food & beverage product, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these industries. We value multitasking, flexibility, and creativity, as you will handle projects across multiple clients at any given time.

We operate as a small, primarily remote team with occasional in-person meetings. You will work closely with our Director of Public Relations, engaging in regular calls and meetings to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution. Occasional local travel to clients for photoshoots, meetings, and special events will be required. Some out-of-area travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a roster of key client accounts within the fine dining and hospitality industries, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute creative, results-driven communications campaigns that meet client objectives and deliver high-impact media coverage that support the overall strategy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed of progress and results, and proactively addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Support development of strategy for each client and execution
  • Cultivate relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers within the fine dining/hospitality sector to secure strategic placements and coverage for clients.
  • Support development and implementation of strategic brand partnerships.
  • Ideate concepts for creative programming and support implementation.
  • Event Management Support.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and media coverage, providing clients with comprehensive reports and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including content creators, digital marketers, event planners, and tourism boards to develop integrated campaigns that maximize client exposure and engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure clients are positioned as leaders in the industry.
  • Attend and represent clients at industry events and networking opportunities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Based in the Bay Area with reliable transportation and ability to travel, including a commute to a central office 
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in public relations or communications, with a focus on fine dining and hospitality preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing successful Communications campaigns and delivering high-impact media coverage for clients.
  • Strong understanding of the fine dining and hospitality industries, including key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, media, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to execute in the short term and plan long term.
  • Proficiency in PR and media monitoring tools, as well as Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, and Asana.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and employ a variety of software applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on client and company needs.
  • Extremely organized style and the ability to work efficiently in a variety of settings.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $85K+ annually, depending on experience
