Job Description

C2’s client, a nimble creative agency partnering with leading brands in the packaging industry, seeks a contract Production Editor to assemble raw clips, polish edits, and help deliver finished videos for their growing list of clients. When demand spikes, they move fast to capture and create video assets for product storytelling, testimonials, interviews, and more. With the lead videographer on the road capturing footage and a rising project backlog, there is a need for support in the quick turn around on edits of this footage. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with a tight agency team and get content out the door for high-visibility brands.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Short-term contract, project-based (estimated busy periods in October, then as needed for overflow or new projects).

Location: Onsite at the client’s Hartland, WI office (no remote/hybrid options at this time).

Compensation: $23-$27/hr. commensurate with experience (hourly rate, W2 through C2).

Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 consecutive business days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, PTO accrual, and 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match available for enrollment after 90 days

Technology: Talent must provide their own device and software

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, edit, and assemble video footage captured by the lead videographer using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Craft stories from raw materials, including subject-matter expert interviews, testimonials, client interviews, and hype reels
• Perform basic color correction and audio clean-up as needed (a plus, but not required)
• Organize and manage video assets to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines
• Work closely with the lead videographer (remotely and in-person) to ensure continuity and brand voice in all content
• Adapt to ongoing project needs—anticipate uptick in video workload during busy periods, especially October
• Communicate regularly with the in-house team (agency VP, lead videographer) to prioritize and deliver edits on time

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and overall video editing basics
• Prior experience editing footage for branded, commercial, or agency projects
• Ability to work independently, keep pace with shifting deadlines, and turn projects around quickly
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable collaborating via email and in-person
• Available and willing to work onsite in Hartland, WI, during project workload spikes

Nice to Have:

• Experience with sound/audio clean up and color correction for video projects
• Skills in organizing and archiving video content for future use
• Adaptable, personable, and easy to work with—personality fit is highly valued in this small, fast-paced agency
