Position: Production Assistant

Location: Wood Dale, IL Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Assistant to support our production team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks and will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager with daily tasks and projects.
• Perform precise data entry and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and CRM systems.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of contracts and coordinate closely with the Production Manager on project statuses.
• Communicate effectively with customers, handling inquiries, scheduling installations, and following up post-installation.
• Collaborate with Sales Administration to ensure seamless contract handoffs.
• Maintain correspondence with the accounting department and revise sales commission sheets as needed.
• Manage service requests and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Collect payments and assist with general office duties.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in production or operations roles, with strong administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic mathematical operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Accurate typing skills and the ability to self-correct errors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift

• Overtime as needed

• Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Wood Dale, IL 60191 before starting work.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
