Job Description

We are looking for a Product Technician to join our team in Rochester, NY. This position is onsite in Eastman Business Park in the Wide Roll Film Division.

The principal responsibility for this position is to provide manufacturing and engineering support for both day-to-day activities and projects within Kodak’s wide roll film manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Inputting product formulation and machine setup changes into data systems

I.E. interfacing with SAP and Kodak information systems

• Product quality and process data collection, analysis and reporting
• Physical product inspection
• Procedural documentation and updates
• Trouble shooting manufacturing and customer issues
• Product development project team member

Prioritized skill requirements:

• Strong computer skills.
• MS Excel experience required
• Ability to adhere to manufacturing processes and personnel safety principles.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team
• Detail oriented
• Problem solving capabilities
• A strong work ethic, highly motivated, and ability to be mentored.
• Excellent math, written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of adaptability and patience
• Ability to work closely and take directions from engineers
• Demonstrated ability to actively work on multiple project teams as well as work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to interact interdepartmentally (operations to engineers)

Minimum Education Level and experience:

• Preferred – Associates in Science/Technology, Math, Computer field (or equivalent experience)
