Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP is an international law firm headquartered in NYC and 18 offices worldwide. We are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join our Trusts & Estates practice group in New York.

Job Description/Responsibilities : 

• The paralegal will be part of the Private Client practice group supporting Trusts & Estates partners, associates and a fiduciary accountant.
• Drafting and preparation of probate documents.
• Review and organizing financial information.
• Maintain matter dockets.
• Maintenance of will and trust record files.
• Preparation of receipt and release agreements.
• Assisting the fiduciary accounting department with the preparation of tax and accounting information.
• Preparation and tracking of monthly client bills.
• Assistance with other administrative matters, including filing and mailings.
• Hybrid work schedule.

Job Qualifications : 

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prior work experience/law firm experience, and prior private client/trusts and estates experience is preferred.
• Finance, math, accounting or similar degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and project management skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team under tight deadlines. 
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience using HotDocs, CCH Axcess and/or FAS Court Accounting System, a plus.
• Salary commensurate with experience. 

Salary Range: $50k-$60k
