Job Description

Allied Property Management is looking for a Groundskeeper (Porter or Make Ready Technician) to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of the apartment community. The Groundskeeper role is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the apartment community, including buildings, landscaping, parking lots/structures, trash areas and common areas.

Groundskeeper Position Summary:

  • Upkeep of grounds by picking up trash/debris, performing basic cleaning duties, and select landscape maintenance for amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
  • Removes trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter including trash cans, pet stations, and dumpster areas.
  • Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
  • Performs assigned maintenance tasks.
  • Assists in cleaning of available apartments and/or models.
  • Reports any maintenance or security concerns on apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to Lead Maintenance Technician.
  • Clean air conditioning vents, replace air filters and other basic preventative maintenance in all vacant apartments, common areas and occupied apartments.
  • Delivers communication documentation to residents.
