Job Description

Pride Health is hiring for a P hlebotomist III (Floater) to support our client’s medical facility based in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 2-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Must have reliable vehicle and have flexibility.

Job Title: Phlebotomist III (Floater)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: This is a float position, so the shift varies anywhere between 6:00 am to 6:30 pm EST (8 hrs/day) that they could be scheduled for, not including travel time.

Pay Range: $20 to $24/hr

* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
