We are currently offering certified full-time school paraprofessional and Physical Education teacher assistant ( together) with a full benefit package including Florida Retirement System.
**Responsibilities:**
- Support lessons that align with Florida standards.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive classroom environment for students.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and communicate with parents regarding academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational strategies.
- Incorporate the school’s vision and principles into daily teaching practices.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, including during physical activities and transitions.
- Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and other non-classroom times.
- Address and manage any behavioral issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and incidents.
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of classroom materials and activities.
- Professional attire, behavior and timely reporting incidences to administrators and supervisors
- Perform any other assignments and responsibilities as assigned by the principal or his designee.
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience working with students in a classroom setting.
- Strong background in childhood education or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and math instruction and standardized testing preparation.
- Ability to develop and adapt educational materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Familiarity with physical education activities with safe and effective classroom management
