We have an exciting opportunity for a pattern maker on our production team in Los Angeles, California!
We are currently seeking a talented and seasoned individual with a minimum of 5+ years experience in pattern making for women’s wovens and knits to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for construction and enjoys this line of work. As a Pattern Maker, your primary role will be dedicated to creating size-inclusive, well-fitting, and high quality garments. This role is the perfect fit for an individual who enjoys apparel, patterns and solving construction challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Create patterns inspired from photos and based off of sketches and reference samples
Make adjustments to existing patterns
Executing patterns from 1st proto through production for all private brand categories
Lead fittings and collaborate closely with the design team to execute fit intent
Develop fit blocks, construction standards, and quality guidelines for all private brand categories
Utilize company calendar to effectively manage and prioritize workflow
Utilize tracking reports for all sample approvals, spec changes, etc.
Monitor and contribute to the accuracy of all tech packs including points of measure (POM), bill of materials (BOM), construction callouts and spec changes
Join the cross-functional teams in all hand-off meetings to ensure all garment specifications are communicated effectively
Requirements & Skills:
Proven skill as a Pattern Maker with a minimum of 5+ years experience in creating patterns for women’s wovens and knits
Tukatech experience is required
Activewear experience is required
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for fit accuracy and precision
Bring expertise in textiles, pattern making, grading, and construction
Knowledge of garment specs and grading
Proficiency in using MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
This role will report on-site, M-F, at our production facility in Los Angeles, CA
Spanish speaking is a plus
