The MTO Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and rebuilding production machinery and tooling within the machine tool operation. This position involves learning and performing a variety of tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Actively engage in learning and performing a variety of tasks within the machine tool operation to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with experienced machine repair specialists to learn equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
• Clean, prep, and assist with the repair/rebuild process of equipment and tooling.
• Perform tasks and errands to support project timelines and keep tasks on schedule.
• Demonstrate a willingness to grow and develop technical skills through ADS-supplied training and education.
• Uphold and practice ADS CORE VALUES in all aspects of the job.

Required Skills/Knowledge:
• Basic mechanical understanding of how machines work and how they are assembled.
• Familiarity with measuring devices and tools used in machine maintenance.
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Proficient in the use of small hand and power tools.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to work independently and proactively meet deadlines and project goals.

Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or Vocational School Diploma.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience with measuring devices.
• Welding experience.
• Basic knowledge of simple electrical circuits.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes.
• Familiarity with quality procedures, tools, and documentation.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds or more as required.
• Ability to perform work in extreme hot or cold environments for extended periods.
• Ability to stand or remain mobile for a minimum of 8 hours, depending on the shift.

• Travel required: 0% - 5%.
• Ability to work on equipment in a manufacturing environment.
