Job Description

Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Proposal Writing Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts to assist our company continue our exceptional growth. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans and the development of proposals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing and Proposal Writing Specialist will assist in the following marketing and proposal writing tasks:

Proposals :

· Analyzes and understands the requirements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Expressions of Interest (EOI) and other solicitation documents. Coordinates all information in format requested in RFP and according to Company standards

· Plans and develops unsolicited proposals and responses to RFPs, RFQs and EOIs including researching, writing, editing and design of final product

· Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts and corporate personnel, developing and writing technical and management content for responses which are compliant with RFP requests. Collaborates with consultants to develop proposal strategy, identify potential areas of improvement, solutions and themes that support the win strategy. Circulates proposals to the ISC team for review and feedback

· Writes, edits and proofreads proposal for readability, consistency and appropriate tone describing company capabilities, management approach and/or past performance

· Analyzes proposal content to ensure relevancy of past performance materials (resumes, qualifications, etc.) used to RFP requirements

· Manages proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval;

· Formats proposal documents in Microsoft Word to meet company guidelines and standards;

· Maintains and updates SharePoint libraries to supplement proposal writing process (resumes, project descriptions, proposal templates, etc.);

· Maintains database system for proposal tracking of wins/losses, type, etc. Follows up on unsuccessful proposals to develop recommendations for improving success rate;

· Ensures registration on all relevant online databases and maintenance of up-to-date information on the firm and consultants;

· Coordinates delivery of proposals to ensure submission deadlines are met, whether by procurement site, email, or hard copy.

· Assists in special projects for Business Development and other duties as assigned by management.

Marketing :

· Overall marketing support, and promotional materials through the execution of creative designs, effective layout and quality execution.

· Maintain an event calendar, and plan and coordinate all activities related to our company’s presence at industry trade shows and other public events.

· The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphics design and would design, develop and disseminate functional and effective graphics, templates, and other marketing collateral for print and web output.

· Contribute to developing sales for our Odysseus Enterprise System (OES)

· Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends, and Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

· Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

· Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)

· Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts

· Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)

· Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned

· Manage the company’s internal sales and marketing databases.

· Provide information on a timely basis to our business partners, clients, and company personnel.

· Additional administrative duties and other company functions as required.

Required Qualifications / Experience

· Exceptional writing and editing skills;

· Strong organizational skills that demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;

· Ability to work collaboratively under strict deadline pressure and handle multiple work assignments;

· Proven experience as marketing specialist, proposal coordinator, or similar role

· Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.), market research methods, and demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.

· College degree or equivalent education/experience in graphic design, advertising design, or related is field is preferred. Business, Communications, Journalism degree (or other similar degree) with strong experience in design will also be considered.

· Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

· Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools desired

· Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind

· Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

· Demonstrate the ability to master Integrated Solutions Consulting’s Odysseus Enterprise System (OES) technologies

Core Competencies/Skills

· Relevant work experience with marketing and office management activities.

· Demonstrated creative experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.

· Expertise in Microsoft Office apps, especially Microsoft Word and the use of “Styles”/formatting experience and Power Point for slide presentations

· Experience with database management into CRM systems
