Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Organize and manage a large volume of complex legal documents to ensure they are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Conduct legal research and summarize information to support our corporate team.
Draft and edit legal correspondence to maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Manage attorneys' calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics as needed.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
Handle dictation and transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately.
Prepare and manage expense reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow.
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
3+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, preferably in a litigation setting.
Proficiency in legal writing and drafting high-quality legal documents.
Strong knowledge of document management systems and procedures.
Excellent client relations skills, capable of handling queries and concerns with professionalism.
Experience in calendar management and the ability to juggle multiple schedules.
High accuracy in dictation and transcription tasks.
Strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of documents and data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant legal software.
A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and take appropriate action.
