Job Overview

As a Translator, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately convert written or spoken content from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and context.

Essential Duties:

• Interpret between Japanese expats and local staff.
• Provide interpretation for various onsite meetings as wells as telephone and web conferences.
• Translate technical and non-technical documents including policies, instructions and manuals when necessary.
• Compose and translate emails, reports etc.
• Required to translate both Japanese to English and English to Japanese.
• Other duties may assign by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

job Education Basic:

• High school diploma or GED Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field Essential Qualifications:

• Written and verbal fluency in Japanese and English, excellent communication and writing skills.

• Japanese/ English business language skills.

• Translator / interpreter experience in a business/ technical environment, manufacturing industry preferred.

• Ability to translate quickly and accurately.

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Pay: $34.21 - $35.75 per hour
