Melody Music Co-op is what our name says: a group of teachers working together to grow our individual businesses and provide top-notch music education services to clients in their homes , which is where the market seems to be these days.
Founded by a 20 year veteran music school owner with an astounding number of contacts and client base in the Kirkland, Redmond and Sammamish areas , we recruit and refer the students to you, we provide invoicing and admin support services, the needed business licenses and insurance. You embark on your journey or continue your journey to build your student clientele with our support and expertise.
We consider ourselves to be the local, in-person version of Outschool, offering a central location for teachers who seek:
* a greater income potential
* complete control over their schedules
* training and resources like lots of music and teaching tools that sometimes can be costly to buy
*business management (who likes the billing and insurance/licensing aspects of their private practice??!?)
*performance opportunities for your students (community service based as well as formal recitals in a nice hall we rent in Kirkland and/or Bellevue)
You can set your own pricing and have as many students as you want; we take a percentage of your revenue from lessons for marketing you under the umbrella of our established business.
We are super busy with more students that we have teachers for so if you're looking to grow your studio or are a new teacher wanting expert guidance on starting your own teaching studio, please apply! We are only interested in teachers who can commit to at least one year.
We are willing to train piano teachers for beginners so even if you've never taught before but like kids and have at least intermediate level piano skills, reach out. We've trained teachers in the past who have gone on to have years long careers with us and then moved on to other businesses with a solid set of skills.
Please note that this position involves driving between client homes and you will be responsible for your own transportation.

If you meet the below requirements and are interested in the position, please apply through Indeed or send a brief bio and description of your qualifications to the email melodymusiccoop@gmail.com or through our website,
