Title: 3D GenAI Researcher

Location: San Jose ( 3 days a week onsite)

Salary Range: $220,000-$300,000 + Equity

Their mission is to democratize 3D creativity — enabling anyone, from AAA game developers to indie creators, to generate high-quality 3D assets with nothing more than a prompt.

Used daily by teams at leading companies like Blizzard, Snapchat, and Hasbro, this platform was recently named the #1 3D GenAI tool in an A16z industry survey and is scaling fast with 30% month-over-month user growth.

They’re now expanding their world-class research and machine learning team to push the limits of what’s possible in 3D content generation.

What You’ll Do

• Train and fine-tune cutting-edge text-to-3D and text-to-video diffusion models
• Design and prototype novel neural architectures for high-fidelity 3D generation
• Collaborate closely with engineers and artists to bring research to life in real-world workflows
• Stay ahead of the curve on multimodal AI, 3D reconstruction, and differentiable rendering
• Contribute to internal publications, open-source efforts, and technical blogging (if desired)

What They’re Looking For

• Deep expertise in diffusion models, generative AI, or neural rendering
• Hands-on experience with training and optimizing large-scale vision or multimodal models (e.g., 3D VAE, DreamFusion, NeRFs)
• Strong background in computer vision, 3D graphics, or machine learning
• Track record of published research at top venues (CVPR, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, etc.) is a plus, not a must
• Comfortable writing production-quality code in Python and PyTorch
