Job Description
- Position Title: General Cleaner
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- General Location: Baton Rouge, LA
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour
- Facility Type: Office Building
- Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
General Duties
This campus is a "no tobacco products" campus. All candidates must be aware of this*
- Bathrooms:
- Remove trash up to 50lbs
- Block off restrooms with proper signage when possible
- Stock and clean dispensers
- Clean all glass and countertops
- Disinfect and clean all fixtures
- Make one more trash run at the end of the day to reduce trash pulling time at night
- Replace air fresheners every 90 days and high dust when the air fresheners are changed
- Change urinal screens every 30 days
- Common Areas and Lobby:
- Remove all common area trash cans (up to 50lbs)
- Clean the inside and outside of all entrance area glass and windowsills
- Vacuum entrance mats
- Police outside 10ft from entrance and pull trash
- Replace any dispensers (hand sanitizer)
- Spot clean glass in all high touch point areas
- Clean high touch points routinely throughout the day
- Low dust
- Elevators - check for fingerprints on panels and wipe down call buttons
- Police stairs for trash
- Clean gum or carpet spots
- Janitorial Closet:
- Clean and Organize
- Audit for chemical compliance
- Restock
- Manage inventory
- Building Specific:
- Executive suites and large break rooms
- Reoccurring issues
- Work orders
- Communicate with supervisor on items missed by the night crew
Requirements - Personal cell phone
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a criminal background check. We background check ALL potential employees.
- Lift 35 lbs, carry full trash bags, operate and lift janitorial equipment, lift and stock janitorial supplies.
- Speak, read and write English
