Are you passionate about food safety, relentless about quality, and ready to lead a team with purpose? Our client is looking for a Food Safety & Quality Manager to elevate their standards and build a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.

As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll take ownership of all food safety and quality systems across the facility from HACCP implementation to customer satisfaction. You’ll lead audits, collaborate with suppliers, and guide internal teams with clarity and purpose.

The Role:

• Lead all Food Safety & QA functions and external relationships (USDA, FDA, SQF, suppliers, auditors)
• Oversee and maintain HACCP plans, quality documentation, and compliance programs
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and product quality
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure supplier compliance
• Investigate complaints, trends, and recalls with a problem-solving mindset
• Lead and coach the QA team while supporting cross-functional departments

Your Background / Must Have’s:

• Direct leadership of FDA, USDA and GFSI (SQF) audits and inspections
• Deep knowledge of FDA, USDA regulations and GFSI (SQF) standard
• 5 years in a key Food Safety and/or Quality leadership role in a protein processing environment (meat or seafood)
• B.S. or M.S. in Food Science or equivalent field
• Seafood HACCP a plus

Job Title: FSQA Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado (on-site, full-time)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
