Job Description: 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate English 1 Instructor to teach a summer session course in Lancaster, TX . This contract position offers the opportunity to help students strengthen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in a structured classroom setting. 

Responsibilities: 

• Teach English 1 curriculum in accordance with academic standards. 
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans. 
• Facilitate discussions and activities to enhance student learning. 
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments. 
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. 
• Communicate regularly with students and program coordinators. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 
• Three years or more of teaching experience at the high school or college level. 
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills. 
• Ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles.
