E-Commerce Website Specialist (Shopify)
Our client is looking for a Shopify Ecommerce Website Specialist to manage and optimize their online store. This role focuses on improving the customer experience, conducting QA testing, creating high-converting landing pages, and collaborating with an SEO agency to drive best practices. A key responsibility is enhancing conversion rate optimization (CRO) to improve ecommerce performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Oversee global market operations, including localization and currency management.
- Conduct QA testing across desktop and mobile, working with developers to resolve issues.
- Implement SEO optimizations in partnership with an external agency.
- Create and refine landing pages to boost engagement and conversions.
- Analyze competitor websites and industry trends to improve site performance.
- Drive CRO efforts, optimizing key metrics like conversion rate and bounce rate.
- Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track user behavior.
- Manage Shopify apps and integrations to enhance site capabilities.
- Maintain product listings, pricing, and merchandising in collaboration with marketing.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine the customer journey.
Requirements:
- 2+ years managing a Shopify-based ecommerce store.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to QA updates across desktop & mobile.
- Experience handling global storefronts (localization, translations, currencies).
- Proven ability to create and optimize landing pages for marketing.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and ecommerce functionality.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing.
- Experience with CRO strategies to improve site performance.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (Liquid experience is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with developers, marketing, and agencies.
