Welcome to Aventiv! Please watch this brief video to find out if this is the place you want to be! Job Purpose: Responsible for maintaining organization and standard processing procedure of seized and recovered electronic media from clients.
* This position is eligible for an employee bonus referral.* Essential Duties: - Receive and log all seized recovered electronic media into spreadsheets as well as ERIN (when applicable).
- Create proper documentation for all recovered electronic media including proper completion of chain of custody paperwork.
- Take clear digital photos of all seized evidence.
- Effectively handle biohazard evidence.
- Support the clients and departments within the business unit by communicating the status of inventory.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Understanding of computers, document management; internet; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and Outlook; Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications: - A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for this position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), & capable of learning new technology.
- Relevant work experience in administrative support or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications: - Associate degree or bachelor's degree in digital forensic, Business or related discipline.
- Possession of professional certifications and membership in professional associations is highly desirable.
- Relevant work experience in evidence management, corrections, or law enforcement.
Physical Requirements: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
