Position: Dining Room Host and Cleaner
Hours: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
As a Dining Room Host and Cleaner at Chick-fil-A, you will be the face of hospitality in our dining area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and friendly environment. Your role will involve greeting guests, assisting with their needs, and ensuring the dining area remains spotless throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Interaction:
• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Assist guests with seating, answering questions, and providing menu guidance.
• Check on guests periodically to ensure their needs are met and they have a pleasant experience.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms.
• Ensure trash is regularly emptied, and areas are sanitized according to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Perform routine checks to ensure cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with restocking supplies and informing management of any inventory needs.
• Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
• Follow Chick-fil-A policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and guest service.
Qualifications:
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Time Management: Efficient and capable of handling multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending. ( Capable of lifting 50 lbs and stand for about 8-10 hours daily)
