Job Description

Manage the flow of all design projects for the In-House Design Team with minimal supervision. Intake requests from Marketing, assign work to a team of four designers based on capacity and skills, and ensure timely progress through every stage—briefs, asset gathering, approvals, and final delivery. Maintain and improve workflow systems including HAS and WebCenter (ESKO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination (60%)
• Lead the day-to-day flow of design deliverables. Host regular status meetings with design, Marketing, and Packaging Graphics teams. Track timelines and resolve issues quickly.
• Individual Project Oversight (20%)
• Manage specific projects independently using internal tools. Communicate clearly with teams, review final graphics for accuracy, and handle any issues that arise.
• Process Improvement (15%)
• Work with the Sr. Design Manager to enhance systems and processes. Recommend upgrades that improve communication and tracking.
• Team/System Knowledge (5%)
• Stay up to date on people, systems, and workflows that impact the In-House Design Team.

Scope:

• Projects Managed: 500–550 per year

• Project and traffic management experience, including assigning work and evaluating team skills
• Solid problem-solving and collaboration skills

Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS in Printing, Packaging, Graphic Arts, or equivalent experience
• Experience: At least 3 years in CPG or graphic arts industry
