Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and cost.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the bid process.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate proposals, and support bid presentations.
- Ensure estimates align with project goals, budget requirements, and timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of estimating experience within commercial construction.
- Houston market experience strongly preferred due to local subcontractor and cost knowledge.
- Experience estimating commercial projects in sectors such as K-12, municipal, industrial, healthcare, or office.
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
