Community-Based Caseworker - Independent Contractor $45/hr

Do you have a passion for working with children and families with a history of abuse and neglect? Do you have a Bachelor's Degree? If this sounds like you, Damar Support Services is looking for talented Caseworkers to work as independent contractors. Our Independent contractors work with children and families with a history of abuse and neglect. These are court ordered services offered to children and families who are involved with DCS (CHINS) or probation. Interventions are designed to help remedy whatever issue lead a family to the attention of DCS.

Location:

Cases available in the following counties: Clinton, Madison, and Delaware

Pay:

$45 per hour

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must meet one of the two following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • High School Degree, GED, or Associates Degree AND at least 4 years of full time employment experience providing direct casework services to children and families that includes providing services to families that need assistance in the protection and care of their children.
• Be at least 21 years old
• Valid Indiana driver's license
• No felony convictions or other criminal offenses

• Home-based casework
• Fathers engagement
• Resource parent support
• Parent education
• Parenting/family function assessment
