Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport material handling, construction, or industrial cleaning equipment to and from customer locations and job sites using flatbed trucks.
Ensure secure and legal loading/unloading of all equipment.
Perform daily safety inspections of trucks and trailers.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, timecards, and required paperwork for each run.
Work closely with rental, service, and sales teams to meet transportation needs.
Report any mechanical or physical issues with trucks or equipment and set up equipment for repairs as required upon delivery to service locations.
Essential Requirements:
Must hold a valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement and maintain a good driving record per company policy.
Flatbed driving experience is required.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
Professional, customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
Licensed to operate powered industrial equipment (or willing to obtain).
Commitment to safety and company standards at all times.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
Frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 150 lbs), and reaching.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to work in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
