Truck Driver

Job Brief: Doherty Steel is searching for a CDL, Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting structural steel and related materials to job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport steel materials and equipment to various job sites.
  • Inspect and maintain trucks and loads to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Accurately document deliveries, maintain logs, and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with shipping, site managers, and other team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 5-years of experience driving trucks, MUST HAVE flatbed experience.
  • Strong understanding of DOT and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift upward of 50 pounds without injury.
  • Must have knowledge of rigging and securing materials.
