America's Test Kitchen seeks an Assistant Video Producer to shoot and edit original video content for YouTube and other platforms. Ideal candidates have experience in short- and medium-form videos, a passion for food, proficiency with cameras and video editing tools, strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced team environment.
Core Responsibilities
Produce, shoot, and edit video content for YouTube and other video initiatives.
Support planning, scripting, and shooting tasks in pre-production.
Operate cameras (Sony experience preferred), lenses, lighting, and grip gear.
Stay up-to-date on video production best practices.
Edit video content, including basic color correction.
Collaborate with senior team members and work independently.
Manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
Assist with additional video production as needed.
Skills and Experience
2+ years in shooting, producing, and editing video content.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
Strong communication skills, able to give and receive feedback effectively.
Team-oriented, yet capable of working independently.
Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking are a plus.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
