Job Title : Assistant Controller
Work Location : Westlake, TX
Duration : 4-6 month contract
Education/Experience Required : CPA and 10 years experience in accounting
Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Support the accounting team and the FP&A Director during the transition of the Controller
- There will be one half year closing that is challenging.
- It consists in:
- Taking part in the transmission of knowledge of the controller.
- Being trained to the ERP and closing process by the team for specific tasks to be identified.
- Support the accounting team to ensure that the closing is due on time and with a good quality level.
- Take part in the closing activity in order to help the workload split between the team.
- Help the transition when the new controller will be hired.
Skills & Qualifications :
- CPA
- 10 years experience in accounting
- Strong IT skills (quick learner and strong experience in ERP)
- Strong data skills (Excel)
- Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus
- Experience in accounting management full scope (AP, AR, GL, CAPEX, Tax, T&E)
