$16.50-$18.50 PER HOUR
1st Shift 6:30 am- 5 pm Monday to Thursday with Overtime on Friday as needed for production

Truck Body Assembler Summary:

The Truck Body Assembler works in a fast-paced production line manufacturing truck body. These positions use hand tools, ladders, and power tools to complete large scale portions of a truck body to meet daily and weekly production goals.

Truck Body Assembler Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools to assemble truck bodies.
• Complete duties in a timely manner.
• Operate stationary and overhead cranes.
• Safely work on and off a ladder.
• Install wiring and lighting
• Operate saw, rivet gun and other appropriate tools
• Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.

Truck Body Assembler Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th is required
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, written direction, and work orders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel
• Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
